About Dekomforter Resource Foundation
Building a community where everyone feels valued, supported, and hopeful
Building a community where everyone feels valued, supported, and hopeful
Dekomforter Resource Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful idea: everyone deserves comfort during difficult times. What started as a small group of volunteers assembling care packages has grown into a comprehensive organization serving thousands of individuals and families each year.
Founded in 2015, we recognized that many people in our community—children in hospitals, seniors living alone, families facing hardship—needed more than just material support. They needed to know that someone cared, that they weren't forgotten, and that hope still existed.
Today, we continue that mission through our Comfort Bags program, educational workshops, resource center, and community partnerships. Every day, we work to bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those who need it most.
To provide comfort, essential resources, and emotional support to children, seniors, and families facing difficult circumstances, ensuring that no one in our community feels forgotten or alone during their time of need.
A community where every person—regardless of age or circumstance—has access to the support, resources, and compassion they need to thrive. We envision a world where acts of kindness create ripples of hope and healing.
Compassion: We lead with empathy and understanding.
Dignity: We honor every person's worth.
Inclusion: We welcome and serve all.
Excellence: We strive for quality in everything we do.
